Conversion of Analog to Digital for DVD Distribution

There are a couple goals in converting content for DVD distribution. The first goal is to convert the analog signal to digital data. This raw audio visual digital data has extremely high fidelity, but the files are extremely large. The next step is to take these raw files and compress them to MPEG-2 for DVD distribution. The tools used depend on the budget, target audience, and content.

Once the content is converted a DVD will need to be authored.
